Rangrezz is a Hindi film directed by Priyadarshan starring Jackky Bhagnani, Priya Anand, Rajpal Yadav and Amitosh Nagpal in the lead roles. The story is adapted from the Tamil film Naadodigal, which has already been remade in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali.[1] The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and released on March 21, 2013.[2]

Critical reception [edit]
Sudhish Kamath of The Hindu stated, "Rangrezz is a fine example of how NOT to remake a film".[4] "Madhureeta Mukherjee of Times of India has given the movie 2.5 stars out of 5 stating that "There are ample well-shot scenes ( Santosh Sivan), good performances (strong supporting cast) and sweet moments; ... The second half goes awry, the story loses steam and characters lose colour.[5] Taran adarsh of Bollywood hangama has given 2 stars out of 5.[6] Ankur Pathak from Rediff.com has given 3/5 stars and says Rangrezz works despite being saddled with a rather cliched plot.[7]
